it is a real nice looking motor and it seems like it was put together with all the right parts.
i could build me a nice 1075 with cams and a backcut tranny for that amount. then at least i know the cylinder taper is in spec, not just ball honed to break glaze.
but then again, i like performance builds, not stock resto's.
( never found a nice enough bike to do a period correct resto. maybe ronkz650 wants to donate to the cause? )
someday i will be able to afford my kz habit.

Very good point about the warranty, 650ed. I hadn't thought of that but you should certainly get one for that kind of money. I'd at least want a thousand mile warranty just to make sure it's put together correctly.
On the other hand, I'm sure race engines from even the top builders don't have a warranty either, so maybe we're asking for too much?

at the end of the day, you have a stock 900 for $3000 if you use the buy it now.

i just saw this and was gonna post it....ya beat me to it.....:laugh: ....i thought it was a good to go motor for someone doing a resto.....
if this guy is using and doing what he says..that motor is worth the cake.....he is about 30 mins from me....might have to do some re-con ....
he cant be all bad...nice stang in the driveway...he likes ford products... ....he is probably getting a deal on machine work if he is doing more than one....hey..we all have to eat and drive bad-ass mustangs with cobra emblems on em...:laugh:
