damn!!!! its only 1815 miles from here. I would be all over this if it were close. I guess a roadtrip wouldnt be too bad, getting out of the snow would be nice too:)

it is near me 5 hrs but i have a runner and a project bike and have to explain the (justify) the project concept every 48 hrs untill i get it to run,,,at which point i will start explainig the second bike concept evey 72 hrs.....or i too would get it......when i was younger i'd buy em swap out the good parts and re-sell....man i had a pile a parts back then,,,,

Yeah, that unit is screaming parts bike for the most part. The swing arm strut assembly would be part of the scrap pile. Nice triple BTW.

jAN, if you buy it, and it has 29mm smoothbores, and gs swingarm, I'll pay $100.00 each.then if it has sidecovers, you'll break even.. and have a rusted corpse for spares.G

Yeah, that would be a start. I had an in-law that said all that was wrong with the old dirtbike was that it needs new sprockets and maybe a new plug.
It was missing most of the plastic, no seat, tires rotted off, spent 3 winters out in the snow with no cover, etc. Sadly I may "borrow" it on my next trip up there to see what I can do about bringing it to life in a late model MX chassis.
