If I'm not mistaken that's the Euro-only ER6n; which is a 650 Ninja (the in-line twin) without the fairing. Me likey a lot. If they bring it to the US we'll sell the little Hawk and get one of those. They make 65 - 70 bHp, and even though they don't sound quite as cool as a V-twin, they're still a cool, snappy, comfy bike. I like the way they look.
2 cents rendered.

Hey guys, Bad Kaw has a "little hawk" for sale......

www.motorcycledaily.com/24september08_kawasaki2009klx_er6n.htm

And it is an ER6N

The little fly shield over the headlight doesn't do much for me but I like the riding position. I've never been much for the "Chin in the wind" position or the popular position with riders of the "other" brand of bike which I like to call "birthing table" position.

Ewwww... I do like the rear swing-arm and rear shock setup though.... And the ergonomics are nicer on the back for us old farts then the ZX series. Conventional front forks, WTF kawasaki!

Hmmm, next project conversion, I wonder... Of course we'd have to wait for these to be imported and for a few crashes here and there for parts...

After thinking about it a little more, I'm not sure I like this concept or not...

According to PSN they are available in the U.S. for 2009. I pulled up the comparison between it and the Versys and they seem very close in most of the specs. The En6r comes in about 7 or 8 hundred bucks cheaper, I think. I kinda like it. Now it's just going to be more difficult to decide if the Versys is my choice for a new bike. I'm still hanging on to the idea that the standard riding position is what I'm more comfortable with.

Should read ER-6n.
