lol that is funny. Maybe the suzuki owners out there feel as if they own the kawasakis or perhaps they envy the fact that they don't own a real bonifide kawasaki that they pretend.

Not any time soon! I have seen more motorcycles on the road along with bicycles and scooters than I can tell you. As long as gas keeps shooting up the bike bus will continue to go Joe. What usually happens is that there is an influx of new riders to the scene by the droves and then when people start dying because they didn't learn how to respect the whole two wheel thing then sales will slump again.
Kawi and Suzi can sleep together all they like as long as they don't have any bastard children named Yamaha I will be content.

Isn't there some badge-engineering going on btween Kaw and Suzuki with some of the dirt bikes?

i.e. the KX100 and RM100 are the same bike, right? I'm pretty sure there are others.
