Great job, am doing my 1980 Z500B2 at the moment. Owned from new, now done 78260 miles.
Doing a referb not a restore got most of rolling chassis done now working on the engine.
yours is the ebony black colour scheme i wanted . look great. would like to chat about the history of yours .
have almost a spare bike that has been in bits since 1982 and will build it up when the main one is done.

That would be fantastic. Are you a member of the VJMC? I am linuxrob on there too and have posted the work so far in the Kawasaki section. should really post it all here too. My Z500 has been round croft numerous times in 1980 the old circuit of course and managed 1 minute 27 seconds per lap. I did not want to wreck it so raced a n RD400C instead and kept the Z for the road. The ~Terry Beckett Tuned 400 managed 1 min 23 and was good enough to get me 8th or 10th most days till the 350Lc can out.

Only follow VJMC on fb, not a member of the actual club. Hopefully see you at Croft if you manage to get there, there three of us attending with a H1, H2, Norton Comando, Z500, GPZ900.
