Down here, at least in MD, point's aren't acessed for fender benders, or even some more serious accidents, unless intoxicants are involved. The cops prefer to not be involved unless serious, or directly witnessed. I think this is in large amount because of the no-fault system. There's no reason for them to get involved to determine blame. From some of the rates y'all are talking about, it seems as if the bikes are even subsidizing the bad cagers. Rick the rates you mentioned seem to be more in line w/rates I've seen here in MD, but $500-900 for a 25+yo bike is crazy.:blink:
