Considering the short notice, we still had a decent turnout for our breakfast get-together.
With more advance notice, I'm sure the next breakfast group will be bigger.
It was cool finally getting to meet JohNLA.
He sure has a sweet looking GPz550!
Here are a few pics I took from this morning.
Flat Stanley all prepped (taped to backside of windscreen) for his ride to breakfast on my 650.
And yes, he stayed put (even at 85 mph:whistle:) all the way there.
Pic #1
JohNLA checking out Sweet Backs other bike.
Pic #2
Knowing that Flat Stanley wouldn't eat to much because....well, because he's flat!
We let him sample a little bit from all of our plates - that smile says I'm full!:silly:
Pic #3
And a KZr group pic (including Flat Stanley of course).
Pic #44
I did find out something interesting when JohNLA made his post with the pic links.
The email I got showing that a post had been made to this thread (I'm subscribed to it) showed the text reply as usual, but also included the pic links which where viewable/could be down loaded from the email.
How cool is that! :woohoo:

OK, so it was a Honda, I posted some pics of Sweet Back's bike in my gallery:
jekgraphics.com/gallery/kzr_breakfast
They are posted at the end. I didn't take pics of the other bikes today, because they sort of look the same as last time...

YA YA, it's a Honda...haha. Always a pleasure to meet up with you guys. I think we should work on a bbq or somethin cool for the summer. There are a lot of us here in SoCal and the surrounding areas, we could really pull somethin off. I certainly have no problem offering up my place but I feel theres got to be a better location or maybe someone with a big backyard. Maybe if we keep it away from holidays or, I don't know, say, late July? Just a thought. And if your bike ain't runnin, don't sweat it. Just get there. Good group of nuts here. Lookin forward to next time......

Always good to meet up with you guys. I had a chilly ride down from Palmdale, but the ride back was just right.
Here are a few of my pics:
Flat Stanley in San Gabriel:
Some of the riders:
Sweet Back's chopped 500:
And a pic of Angeles Crest Hwy on my ride home:
Angeles Crest is a pretty good ride for a KZ...nice arcs, but not too twisty. Most of the curves are posted at 25mph or higher. Good practice for me (God knows I need it).

I prefer riding the Crest over Malibu.
Malibu can be really tight, congested and a bit dirtier but then again the Rock Store rules. I saw Jay Leno there once riding a kickin old Vincint.
