The piston actually dropped?!!
Make sure You post pics of what you find when you pull the pan!

(and yes,it was me you got the pistons from...glad you're going to be using them, bud)

Hey- you did me a solid by selling me those pistons bro- thanks alot!

I had also bought a wiseco "bigblock" from a member here- I had seriously thought about going whole hog- but I want the bike to appear, to the nonKzrider trained eye, as a basically stock bike- and that wiseco block SCREAMES "I AM NOT STOCK" lol

I have dropped the pan- NOTHING- my camera is about to die too- I need to get another- this one has been frozen one too many times in attempts to get some winter riding pics for you fellas (and occcasional lady, I think? ;) ) - shutter won't even open outside! It used to work pretty well above 5^F, but now it doesn't even work all that well inside- took me about three attempts and some photoshop to get you guys what pics I have!

Okay- found the piston- about 50% was in the stator cover, about 50% clumped up right around the oil pickup. Clutch was hosed along with piston. So far, I need to get a stator puller- this one is nearly welded on to the shaft- can't use my normal method this time- and the cases will split- I think the cases wil be okay! :D

for a piston to come apart like that it is my guess that it had a crack in it to start with and the hard ride did it in, I am not seeing the spray metal look when one leans out or melts from preigition.

My camera sucks, I will try again tonight to take more pics. I am still screwing around with the stator- is is really frozen on the crank!
