kz650 Worth $200?

Found a 1978 kz650 a couple hours drive from my house. Found a few people who will ride up to a show there with me and split gas. We could pick up the bike on the way. Guy wants to get it out of his garage and told me $200 takes it. Pretty sure i'me gonna get it but do you think its worth it? And yes it runs, no other info.




Oh, and my streetfighter project now, has one left sidecover but is missing the right. This bike has the same sidecover but for the right. If I don't buy the bike, I will prolly have to find the side cover on ebay. Might as well get a whole bike for a little more.

I think $200 for a running 650 is great, cosmetically nice would be even greater!

My opinion is that any 650 that runs and rides should be worth at least around 500. if you keep it to ride ..cool. otherwise polish it up nice and sell it to make some bucks. take care jonnybiker

It's probably worth $200, but it runs? I would doubt. It "did run" is probably what he means. "Did run" is a pretty useful term as all of them ran at one time :laugh:

$200 for a "complete" bike running or not is still really good. With some work it will run again. I came across this crap on ebay for $180 and it's only half there!

thanks for posting the pic shoe48. Supposedly it ran last this fall. Bad coil, and he checked on the price of an aftermarket one and decided it wasnt worth it. He didnt even check used.
