There's a rumor on York Region Riders (facebook) that the "Perry Sound Sports Bike Rally is no longer????"

I checked the link in my first post, and it still seems to be on. Gotta do some more inquiring.

it would be great if u all would post dates for local events like JR just did. im sure there are lots of events going on that some would like to atend if we knew of them. even the bigger events as a reminder would be good.this may help us to hook up and meet each other as rstnick,(rob)and i did last year.my bike is in a thousand pieses now, but i hope to have it together in a few weeks.so i will be looking forward to meeting some of u at these events.Please post them.

Seems like the Parry Sound Ralley is officially ended, unless some funding comes up. Honda has pulled out.

Here are some quotes form another site:

"I just heard from a relative up in Parry Sound that said the radio just reported that HONDA has withdrawn it's sponsorship money.
Rally is cancelled unless the Town of Parry Sound forks out $50000."

"Confirmed. Council voted to cancell last night."

"Just got off the phone with the Mayors office .
It is as of this moment CALLED OFF .
Financial reasons were stated .
There is another meeting comming up in a couple of weeks .I will be drafting up a letter to the town on how the SBR can go on with little if any money from them .
They understand the history and the importance of the Rally but the funds are not there .
They would support it if it were not for the layout of funds .
The office also sounded like it wantedd the SBR to continue ,it all comes down to coin .

Paris Swap meet in Paris ON?

I plan to be there. Am usually there early and if others are going to be there will definitely hang on. Love to meet fellow KZR'rs

Two weeks to the Southern Ontario KZriders meet!

It's about a 2 hours ride for me, and I hope to leave early, say around 8 or 9 am.

Hope to see a lot of great bikes there, including some of you KZ Riders.

Just over a week away.

Love to be there but I'll be at Grand Bend Motorplex with my dragbike for Sat.14th./Sun.15th.Added treat for this weekend is the Top Fuel Harleys which qualify Sat,eliminations Sunday and the annual Rocky's HD Harleys By The Beach event. Bikes only on Sunday.

How about coming to GBM for our annual Summer Sizzler all bike event on Sunday August 10th? Great ride to Grand Bend and a great day of motorcycle dragracing featuring the Canada's Fastest Streetbike Shootout and the Kevin Blackmore Memorial Q16.
