$142?? Pretty good deal if you ask me! Drop a few hundred into it and you might still stay below what it's worth. Someone scored!!

I know I'm being a 'wet blanket' here, but to me it's a "grass is greener" thing. Man, over the years I've just picked-up soooooo many projects for next to nothing and ended up so deep in them that I just cringe when I see a neglected bike that's "cheap". If a guy like me (and most of us here) picked it up we'd do okay, but the average guy will get spanked on one of those 'deals'. We've all got tools, supplies, and most importantly knowledge on our side. The average guy just has a buddy with a bike and wants to hang out with him and get in cheap, he doesn't have a 'connection' for supplies (tires, chain, sprockets, paint, parts, etc...) and thinks he's just a battery and a carb-clean away from a runner. ...you know how that one goes.
I wish I lived close to it as I sure would have been a player, but normally I end up with that bike in my garage after it's gone to somebody else's garage to get turned into loose parts. :pinch:
