I have been working for UPS until i start my next contract in Korea. While delivering today i saw what looked like a H2, BUT it bad 2 pipes exiting on the left side of the bike.

I could only see from a distance, it looked like a 2 stroke (no head that could be made out) and had dual exhaust from the left side (the only side visible from the road). The tank was poorly repainted and i noticed the sides of the tank looked flat.

I talked to the man briefly, and was told "dat thing dont run, it needs wok, I gaves it du my son hedont wanna do nothin..."

I am thinking if i show up with $100 cash I will be taking it home with me ( his house looked like he could use the cash...). I want to go back for a closer look but figured i would ask here and see what you think.

Were the pipes down low or up high?

The pipes were down low and looked like the dual megaphones on a Z1 or the right side of an h2.

It was defiantly a street bike (i think i remember chrome fenders...I only saw it for about 5 minutes).

Defiantly not the bike posted...although that would be a killer find. There were no badges on the tank or side covers, but they were repainted so they may have been lost or stripped.

2 pipes on the left side would make me think it is British of some sort. Also sounds like it might be a aftermarket exhaust. I can't think of any bikes that came with dual exhaust on one side but I am sure there are a few. For sure worth going for a second look

sounds like an old rd to me. i'd give up 100 bucks for pretty much any old 2 stroke street bike!

I saw it again today and I am wondering if it is just a plane old honda 550 or 750 ewww. It has a single disk up front, spoke rims, and I swear it looks like the head of an RD (flat on the side and very square). It also chrome rear fender with the tail light attached to it via a chrome tube, like the old hondas.

This is all just looks from a distance...

I looked on ebay, and some of the early honda 70's looked to fit the bill.

Next question, if it is an old honda is it worth anything? My 650 is enough of a project... I am really looking for fun old 2 stroke to build next... so i dunno if i would jump on a 4 stroke honda unless it was a good deal or an easy fix.

if its a sohc 750 i'd take it, but anything else would have to be a pretty good deal and not need too much work.

If it was red and had a headlight ........I'll bet it was a Honda.

I have a little Suzuki GT250 listed on ebay right now. Does not have a title but you can get one easily enough. If you are interested we could work something out. It is ending tomorrow. No bids yet but 23 watchers and lots of questions so maybe get some bids at the end. If you want to check it out you can swing by tomorrow and have a look. Runs good but does need some work.
