The ratio is 1-3 on the rear I am going to run 16 front 33 rear ,, will let you know how it worksI think the counter sprocket change is like 1 tooth is equal to 5 on the rear. I only went down 4 teeth on the rear. Did not want to loose too much bottom end.
Now if I only had a lift like 4 R's got for his B-day...

Oh, were you doing the 530 chain conversion? Heard it helps a little.

Don't worry, I know where R4 lives
Give me enough advance notice and bring plenty of beer (my choice of brand:whistle:), and I'd be more than happy to let you use the lift.....
......while I sit on my padded mechanics stool (the other b-day gift from the wifey) drinking said beer and "supervising" of course.

Chris? Thought you abandoned us here on KZR. It gets tough holding down the fort with out you
Nah, I'm still here.
Ya can't get rid of me THAT easily!
I haven't been popping in here as much as usual because I'm trying to grab up every bit of O.T. that I can at both jobs.
I'm hoping that this will be the winter that I finally can install that Wiseco BB kit that I scored for my 650 a couple of years ago.
As far as J-bob's initial question goes, I can't be much help since I've never ridden an X-Police model.
However I worked at a Kawi dealership years ago, and nearly all of the motor-cops were extremely pleased with just about every aspect of their bikes.
One thing to consider is, since the "P" model was offered for so many years (and from what I've heard, Kawi is hoping to be fiercely competitive in the next contract bidding), most parts are still readily available.
