Anybody ever hear of a place called Belucci Engineering in Chicago, IL back in the mid 70's ? I am looking at purchasing a 1976 KZ900. The original owner had a 1300cc motor buit by these guys in 1978. Just wondering if anybody ever heard of them.
Thanks!

Yep...I've heard of them Used to go to Byron Dragway and watch him run all the time. That guy was probably the fastest and more respected "privateer" racing in those days. He made some of the "pros" look bad and gave the other guys a good run for their money. He built motors for area racers also. He's long since retired from what I understand. It was brought up a while back on Dragbike.com and if I remember right, he was retired and someone else was running the business but I could be wrong on the latter. His stuff was always top notch and he was highly regarded for his work. If the bike still has that motor in it, it will be a runner if it's still in good shape.

Thanks for the info, it is really appreciated! Bike looks like new with 6,500 miles on it. Original owner paid $4,000 in 1978 to Belucci to build it so it must have been done right.

Found out I have a picture of Ray Belucci racing his Z1R. Have no idea what year it is(racing) but this is the bike that made him famous. This bike was QUICK!!!

OK guys. The picture is too wide. How do I make it smaller? It's 589x384 and 86.8KB.

When you click on the picture does Microsoft photo editor open it? If so, just click on "image" at the top and then resize, then another window opens, and on the left are 2 boxes with a percentage sign next to them, just click the down arrow on one of the boxes and try like 80 or 75 percent. Don't forget to save it.

No...it's in my photo gallery now. I can't seem to crop it as it doesn't do what I want-takes out part of the picture. Can't downsize it either. I have done it before but can't figure out how.[img size=150]
