That thing is worth $150 in parts alone. Any out of state title company get arrange for a title very easy. I believe there is several in Alabama that can handle that. Then just transfer over to your state. This is done with old cars that have lost or missing titles.

I looked into one of those companies once, they didn't actually provide a title they said. Just paperwork to prove ownership. That won't fly at NJ DMV. Them b@stards are tough.

I admit I am mildly torn on bidding on that bike still. I did bump it to $175, but I am gradually getting over it. I know if I get it I will end up dumping 2K into it instead of parting it out. I know how I am. I don't make money on bikes ... i spend it! :pinch:

You've been outbid. Looks like it will end up back on ebay as parts. Oh well. I have done the title work with no problems. Guess thats why I don't live in NJ.

.. i thought it was cause you flunked out of Rutgers! ;)

Oh yeah, the $175 didn't even make it on.

Who did you use for your title? You actually got a title from the company? Let me know if you still have their info.

well, I'm a New Jerseyan by force...wife is a native and didn't want to leave when we got married. I'm a New Yorker. Granted I grew up a mile from the NY/NJ border, but it's still another world to me.
