You guys are the greatest! Got on today to see what's going on and was suprised at what I read. (Hope I was I not supposed to?) Kazoo, I guess you REALLY liked that grab handle! LOL What your suggesting is one of the most generous things anyone has ever done for me. Thank you. But the bike seems not too bad. Going to the doctor on Monday I walked by the bike (covered) and just had to feel it. Both left turn signals hanging, spedo hanging, handle bar bent over tank. Lifted cover slightly, stator cover smashed and hanging (hope inside is ok). Engine seems good, no broken fins, left side of tank ground flat (just filled, not leaking!)After impact (right rear of car) which was left fork and then my leg, the bike went down ahead of me and slid o it's left side for 50 feet or so. That's all I wanted to see, forks "may" be bent, won't know till I uncover it and stand it up. You guys are wonderful people, to even suggest what your chatting about is a great testament to your character! The bike can be fixed but won't be until I can get on my knees and get dirty. Should be able to start tearing into it in about 6 months. In the next day or two I'll give you guys the whole story. Till then, you guys are grea!! John

Hey John, it's great to see you're still in one piece (albeit held in that one piece by screws/plates = bionic man?) and able to get online to fill us in on what happened so soon!
There's plenty of us here with spares of probably everything your bike needs to get her back to her former glory.
So like has already been said, just concentrate on recovering and getting yourself back to a healthy and mobile status again.
