you guys have it all wrong! Any farmer will tell you john deere only ever made a DIRT bike.:cheer: but if you have to take it across the street for gas, then it's a motocross:pinch:

I think the big hit and miss engines only fire every 5-10 minutes when running with no load. It seems that way anyway :)

Antique gas tractor and engine show in Portland IN every Aug has 100's of hit and miss motors on display.

The big flywheel is to keep the motor turning, you ought to see the size of the flywheel on the big oil field engines :woohoo:

If it's a tourer, I have to say that I'm not honestly looking forward to riding some hit and miss 1.4 million tooth sprocketed John D'bike on I-5 during rush hour with half my bum air conditioned.
