I have a thing for the XS too...I guess that is why it caught my eye. :laugh:

If you wonder why the sport bike crowd insists on doing stunts out on the road, just turn on the Speed channel and watch all the shows where they feature trick riding and the crotch rocket life-style stuff. Kids do what they see.

I saw some jerk passing cars in the HOV lane one his back wheel, I was kind of wanting to see a metro cop just so he could jack him up for being stupid

It's riders like that, that make me want to buy a cruiser:P

One of them squids recently wiped out doing something stupid in my little town a few Sundays ago. I didn't see it, but I heard he was wearing nothing but shorts and sandals. No lid. Won't be riding for a looooong time, if ever.

I saw a kid with one of those pop-up face helmets on his cell phone riding down the road. I thought it was pretty funny. Stupid .. but it made me laugh. What could have been that important?

On the way home from work yesterday, I saw the aftermath of some guy on a Katana who was in WAY to big of a hurry...and while splitting lanes!

As I entered the freeway and worked my way over to the carpool (HOV) lane, I saw a rider in that lane on a CBR600 SLOWLY splitting through the stopped traffic.
Just before I got into that lane behind him, another rider on a 600 Katana QUICKLY split through and proceeded to ride the tail of the guy on the CBR.
Eventually the rider on the CBR moved over and let the Katana rider pass him, which he did like the devil himself was on HIS tail!

About 6 miles later the traffic in all lanes came to an almost complete stop, and in the carpool lane laid the Katana with the rider standing next to it and two cars pulled over just ahead of him.
The rider didn't look to bad from the accident (road-rash on his elbows), but his bike certainly wasn't going anywhere under it's on power.
As the CBR rider and myself passed the Katana rider I asked if he was OK or needed help (as he was lifting up his mangled bike), which he said he was fine. He then turned to a woman from one of the stopped cars who was standing near him and soulfully/ashamedly said: I'm sooo sorry. :pinch:

What does "HOV" stand for?
