Yeah, if you count my girlfriend's new Vulcan, that makes 5 Kaws in the garage, still got a ways to go to catch Gringo!
I'll post a photo of the cop bike in a day or two, first I gotta scrape off a few D.A.R.E. stickers:pinch:

Rear seat? Looks like a few minutes with a hefty trash bag, a few towels and some bungee cords built that... You have to restore that bikes dignity by removing that ASAP!!
Good score. We'll be fighting each other on eBay cop bike auctions now!

Alright, here's the one I got the other day. DARE stickers are gone, but I haven't done anything else to it. It doesn't look too bad but needs a fair amount of work. It wouldn't be much fun or any kind of challenge if it was mint and ready to ride, right?
The carbs will probably go to WG this winter, it has pod filters (airbox long gone) and I don't think it is jetted just right. The wiring is ALL messed up, when it was decommissioned sombody screwed with the extra cop stuff wires and I think I may have to start from scratch to redo it all. It is a 1981 bike (built 11/80) but has the full fairing, which I believe started with the '82 models? Also the seat pan has some cracks where the brackets attach. Too many doughnuts for the cop that rode it?
I've ordered the Clymer manual for it. When I get it on the road, I will have to get a 3/4 white helmet and some of those calf-high Nazi boots, see if people really will get out of my way...

The other side. Too much lean on the sidestand? At least it doesn't have a home-made rear seat! Sorry Shoe!
