Barber Museum Vintage races and swap meet Oct 19-21

Would anyone be interested in having a gathering at the vintage races at the Barber museum/ races in Oct?
Alabama in Oct is one of the greatest riding destinations your going to run across. If yall want to let me know. I'll act as local contact and help set it up on this end.

Motorcycle only camping (and cabins) about 10 miles from the Barber site. Camping will be available but you need to book early.

I have a friend from another forum that went last year. His Z1 got peoples choice award. I plan on going. Roy

Just to mention the meet in Ohio at the end of July. Jeff has recieved the tickets and i should have mine Saturday.
Also the booth rental in Alabama is only $50.00. I can't resist. Roy

I may ride in for a day or three. B'ham is only 2 hours.

If anyone will be taking a truck and have a little room to haul some stuff(a tank or two, some wheels, and maybe a box or two of small parts) back to Atlanta, please let me know.

What is a booth? Is it a spot for the swap meet?
Also if we get enough people to plan on showing up I'll see about getting us a special parking area. Not that I have any pull but I do know people who know people.

Yes. $50.00 for a 20x20 ft. area. I think we paid that amount for a area at Ohio the first year i sold parts. Now we pay $175.00. Roy

Went last year and going to try to go again this year. It's a very good day out.

Since Ohio is over I was wondering if someone would start a sticky thread about this. It is time to get down to serious planning.

The 29dreams campsite listing says closed during this event.

Anyone happen to know of any other camp venues reasonably close by, such as KOA or whatever?

And my imperial wussiness wishes to know of any available weather forecasts.
