Waitaminute. Did I perhaps post that bike on CL finds back in March? I don't know.
Anyway, when exactly in August is the Chivin ride you mentioned? Is it a weekend thing, or a one day ride?
I just looked at Yahoo maps and got the route to Savannha and it looks to be a little over four hours in a cage. So if I divide that into KZ time...

I dunno Iowa, he seems to be kinda touchy about just coveting the pieces parts, let alone riding it!
I bet he'd really go berzerk if I showed up to his vintage ride with my pickup and a tool box.

I also liked the black color scheme, but are harder to find. How do you like the stock seat? The Corbin's roomie but very firm.

i came
suriously, this is nice bike, i am happy for you, just watch the grip and make sure you dont twist it too much.
The bits:
Yoshimura pipe
Stage 1 carb kit
K&N drop in air filter
Corbin Seat
Tinted windscreen
Rear fender eliminator
Never been dropped, never been laid down, new tires (Dunlops), fluids replaced and valves checked (no adjustment needed), last fall before put away.
Only issues I can hear/feel is brakes are squeaking up front at low speeds (need to check pads) and pulse a bit (guessing a rotor is warped) and the saddle is hard.
She's just such a sexy beast, and fun to ride and when yer done with her, she begs for more. What else can you ask for? A liquor store?
