"Well, now that winter has set in progress will have to wait, but it will be made......eventually."
Weird.... winter is when I am actually excited cause that's when all the progress happens as I can't ride the bike then.

Very nice pictorial...you are doing some good work there. I had a carb/gas fire on a old Massey Ferguson tractor once and had the same fire extinguisher mess you had...what a mess eh?

Its pretty good. Your color is really neutral, not to dark not to bright. I wouldnt be to worried about those cover you have on, as long as they fit and they stay on, you are good to go, I just think tires with a better tread patter would look good

As far as I'm concerned, just the fact you built your own harness makes you golden. I shudder at the thought of having to do that someday. :pinch:

You should be commended for your efforts. You have brought it back to life! If you are married I'm curious as to what your wife's comments have been throughout this.
A few
What the hell do you want a motorcycle for?
I hope you have enough life insurance.
You're too OLD to be riding a motorcycle.
And my favorite from my 14 yr old son.
You're a middle-aged man on a middle-aged motorcycle!
(He's not going to be around on this earth much longer!)
