Dude!! That three wheeler is sweet. I don't want to side track this thread but I'd love to know more about the "poor man's hot rod". Maybe you could put a bit more info in another thread. I have several bikes that could be used to build something like that.

I'm trying to get finished up on my "83 KZ1100 LTD and wanted another project. I was looking at building a T-bucket but your little hot rod looks like MUCH more fun.

Thanks,
Tony T

It works really well you can rotate the motor all the way round Just take 2" by 1/4" angle iron and cut it so it will fit to the back of the motor yous the 2 back motor Mont holes.

Hey, FatKaw, to get back on track, about those footpegs. Where did you get them? They look like they were fabbed from bicycle pedals. Did you do that? How? How do they ride compared to traditional foot pegs?

I would say those are bicycle pedals fer sure. To get this thread de-railed again, I want to know about what looks to be a sand blasting cabinet made from an old fridge- Sweet!

LOL!
By George, I think you're right! But, hey, first let him tell me the specifics of the pegs, THEN he can tell you about wasting a perfectly good beer-storage facility!

Hey Preacher-man, bike pedals are bike pedals. All you need is an adjustable wrench and some time to cruise your local bike racks. There is bound to be a pair that you like. Don't forget, one side uses a left-hand thread.

Or, are you hung up on that "Thou shalt not steal"?

LOL! Actually, I was wondering if he had fabbed them to be
1. spring loaded so they would be inclined to stay level fore and aft (so the feet don't haVE to fumble to get on flat)
and
2. spring loaded so that they can fold up towards the bike, just in case the bike goes down.

Not that I would HAVE to steal them, BIcycles have a habit of collecting in my junk pile. But, if that's the initiation into the club...

Ok they are bicycle pegs I just cut the end off the stock pegs and cut the end of the bicycle peg down to fit and welded it there. yes they do fold up. That beer fridge is a sand blasting cabinet it works good I use it a lot.
