I can't wait either, it's long over due. You won't need the glass's if we switch bikes now and then. I was doing a little measuring and it looks like the 18 in. police front wheel will work out WAY better. The police rotors slide right into the ZX7 calipers. Ths rotors are a littls smaller around but the should work fine. That rim is a little wider so I can run a 120 or 130 front tire so I'll be polishing the police rear wheel and a 150 out back.

I only had a couple of cars to work on today so I took the police wheels to work. They had some bad spots that I sanded with 80# to start and worked to 2000#. They polished up pretty good. It looks like I can some nice wide rubber on both ends.

Thanks guys, I am getting exited about getting it together. I just had to put some things together and see it. It looks like after I make some spacers for the front rotors the big brakes well work on the 18 inch wheel. I also still have to make some new axle nuts to fit it to the ZX forks. I may get it going with my old back wheel as it's already polished. When I polish the wider police rear I put a bigger rear tire out back. Sorry about the bad lighting.

Well I left my camera at work but I changed cases today. Now I have a motor to put on but I think I'm going to chrome the motor mount plates. The pix are mostly of how bad the cases got busted up. I should have the pix tomorrow.

Thanks Indy, I have a polishing wheel in the shop so I've been having fun making it shinny. Also I have a deal with the wife that I'm making a little to nice to be a daley driver. But cruise nights and group rides are cool.

Will you be able to save the top end?

That's quite a bit of damage to the cases.

Yes just a small cracked fin on the head that can be welded real easy.
