Thanks for the info
I already had the forks serviced and set up so taking them back for this would suck ha. The bike sits nice and level it’s just lower than I thought it’d be. Should be fun to launch tho with the length and big rear tire.

Installed offset sprocket
River link on chain installed
Found a decent spot for my junkyard oil cooler, need lines and banjo fittings yet.
Going with a set of rearset from 2011+ zx10 I got free from a good friend.
Clutch cable installed and adjusted.
Few more things and time to get into the electrical.

How much offset on the front sprocket (530 chain)???

I had to use 14 mm offset on a 630 chain Setup.

520 chain and sprocket with 5/8” offset front sprocket.
Had to modify the sprocket cover a bit by grinding down the edge and ground down the mount for the foot peg on the inside of the frame.

What exactly does the "auto-snap in mod" do?

I guess I am just thick, I still don't see the purpose.

I wonder if the guy in the video has heard of a new invention called the ratcheting wrench?

EDIT: Oh, wait. The clip makes the stand come up automatically? That would be a disaster for me. I cannot possibly count the number of times I have needed to move my bike just a short distance in the garage and left the stand down. I have often moved it standing on the right (not left) side of the bike. An automatic stand would cost me dearly in broken mirrors and dented tanks. I seem to remember that Ducati marketed a model with that feature, and the magazine reviewers here whined loudly about it.
Some bikes, like my ZRX, just barely stay up on the side stand as it is.
It is an interesting bit of engineering that I will likely never own.

I don't get it either. I've ridden bikes for 54 years and have never considered putting the side stand up as a major (or even minor) inconvenience. In fact, if the side stand went up automatically I agree with TexasKZ that it seems like it would increase the chance of dropping the bike. Suicide stand is a good description. If I bought a bike with that type stand I would change it back to a normal stand. Ed

Ordered banjos and braided line for the oil cooler set up.
Getting into the electrical today, lots of connectors needed and a few components as well.

If you're going to be working on electrical stuff I HIGHLY recommend you buy a roll of F4 tape. This stuff really is great! It does not stick to the wires at all, but is does permanently stick to itself. So if you wrap a set of wires with it it never turns gooey from heat or age, and it never leaves any residue on the wires. One roll goes a long way because to activate the adhesive one stretches the tape first. I've used it for several years on a wide variety of projects and I highly recommend it. The image shows orange tape, but it also comes in black. Ed
