A good scothbrite first to give a good "tooth", Degrease after, then wash off with water....then 2 coats of paint.
We have done some testing with this paint and it holds up very well to weather and washing.
As long as you don't rub the bike down with gasoline.

Then I think I'm done. Should have it done in less than a week.

Just need to get the rear grab bar black chromed and find a chain guard for it.
It runs very quiet and smooth. I'm pleased. I'll take some proper pictures later.

Born in 65, grew up in the cool 70's, and got to ride the 80's bikes.
Doesn't get any better than that if you ask me.
I took it out for a spin yesterday, and it was so nice to be on it.
Seemed like all the guys 40-50ish were rubbernecking. I guess they remember those times as well.

Yep, you don't see one of those ride by every day. Pretty cool!
I would rather wake up in the middle of nowhere than in any city on earth.

Do you know if Chris used one of the aftermarket seat covers on it?
Blue frame too. Nice

He bought the seat cover on ebay, for a 1981 GPz1100, from China.
