Cheers barney. This motor has a 1000j head, but do have an 1100 head on the shelf.

Priorities - I could have cleaned out the fuel tank, or looked at the brakes, or start polishing the cases.

Slowly this week, just mucking around with small stuff, new fuel lines and filter, Checking earths and connections in the loom. Cleaning up the paintwork a bit. Nothing too exciting but since I know you all like pics, here is a pic of my gold one waiting for it's turn.

Oh yea what Mcdroid says. Thats super rare Sonic Gold 1100 if original paint. You should try to restore the paint Please clean it up but dont paint that one

I don't know that I would paint that gold set. I might run it on the black bike sooner or later.

It lives..... new battery, bit of oil down the plug holes and turned over a bit before refitting plugs and adding fuel. Runs like a good thing.

Since you like gold paint have a look at this - murals aren't usually my thing, but a customer was in today on his Ned Kelly tribute. We have a local airbrush guy who is truly world class, it deserves better photography though.
