I found the original Craigslist posting I had saved so I thought I would share.
In the garage as it sat on the day I purchased her. It was like 5 degrees that day!
Here it is all loaded up heading for home

Thank you For the kind words Z1kzonly.
When I bought my first street bike back in 1991 it was a 73 Z1 it had a 4"? wide alum spoke rear rim. I wanted the 8" wide but could not afford it. Plus all the other mods that went with it. I am building the bike I wish I could have had when I was a kid. Chasing my youth........
Not sure I know what I am doing? I blew the main fuse 3 times while wiring the bike. but I am sure learning a lot!

Been working it some and have some photos of some things I have already completed. We made some headway with the machined manifolds this week. Jim finalized the design and should be cutting parts next week. Fingers crossed ![:) :)](/media/kunena/emoticons/8.png)
New key and hour meter installed
Made some tiny tabs for mounting plates and items to the frame
tabs used to attach plates
Yamaha R6 regulator mounted and wired in
Jim got the snout of the blower machined and collar made. The support plate that will run from crank drive up to the blower it will bolt up to this collar.

PLUMMEN,
I waited two weeks after I first seen it on Craigslist hoping it would be gone when I called him. When I called him and he still had it I knew I was in trouble................
