I have to wonder if the kawasaki Gods like me a little.
This kz1000 popped up on CL last Monday and I'm pretty sure i was the first to see the listing. I called, negotiated a vary nice cheap price and picked up the bike today. As you can see in the CL photos bike was for sale in a garage sale over the summer with NO sale and he decided to put it on CL
One owner with all the original paper work, 15k miles , OEM exhaust is toast but the rest looks pretty darn good
Bike been sitting since 1989 !!!!!

Well from what I see that exhaust doesnt look too bad. How do you get theu security with that horseshoe up your butt tho?

Bike came with some goodies as well
The old guy said he had some 55mm race carbs lol ,, actually 29's plus the oem air box

first thing was to toss that bug catcher, if anyone wants let me know it will be in the dumpster next Thursday a.m.. Nice to see the headlight bucket still attached behind the fairing.

Andrew i have your mill security guards eating off my feet. Donuts go a long way !!!!!!!! lol and yes pipes are going in the dumpster and a 4-1 until I can track down a nice original set

Good luck on that I've got a set off an 81-82 ltd I'm tossing on mine cuz I can't find a decent set for a 77-80. I'm sure that Rabbit's foot you're hiding will land gou one though
