Another project to add to my pile. GPz1100

Nice looking pair you have there Slayer. I'm planing on a fairing also.
What was involved in the installation on your wife's 1100? I am going
to use some J model gauges. The wiring is all sorted without the fuel
and volt gauges. My stock gauges still work except for the gas gauge.
Don't know if it's the gauge or the sending unit yet. If a quarter fairing
will fit the stock gauges I would go that route..

There is just a couple of chickenshit little aluminum pieces holding it on. I can snap some pictures if you think it might be helpful.

On the top some convoluted strap from the upper pinch bolt to the fairing and on the bottom some angle from about where the brake splitter is.

Thanks for the reply. One more question. How does your pipe affect performance?
Mine has the large competition baffel. Combined with the off idle glitch it makes it fairly
soggy below 4K.

The pipe didn't work very well with the giant "pod" uni filter the po put on it. It has recently been replaced with the proper air box and fresh plugs. We'll find out how well it likes it here shortly, but in the driveway it liked the air box! It seemed to make the off-idle stumble less
