CSR1000 Project Build

I was at one of my local bike shops and noticed a Bandit tank lying on the floor. He had coated the inside (por15 or something) and it was starting to seperate and he was putting it in the bin.So,I borrowed his angle grinder and had at it. I just cut a square out the top and bottom and lifted out the whole thing, including the overflow tubes.So ive been flushing the tank out in preperation for welding in the new cap fitting.
Aint going to be easy!!(There should be photos somewhere earlier in the thread. I cant be arsed to look though.)

Anyway,I put the tank and Harris on today to get a look;

Thank you thank you Leon but calm down. I just threw everything together to have a look (and get a nice photo) The tank,pipes,seat unit and
steering are all only temporary.
Tomorrow Ill pull them all apart again andfigure out how to get them on in a safe working way!
The pipe for one thing is going to be a challenge as I can see it already fouling the rearset.Tomorrow is another day.

As many as it takes Leon. I like to stare at things until I can figure out how to proceed. Anyway Im off for a bit of a holiday so Im just going to leave the bike as is ( fully dressed?) and tidy up the workshop a bit so as when I get home itll be sitting there in all its glory ready and waiting (to suck more time and money out of me!)

Nice solution for the rearsets, powder coat the raising bracket black and no one will ever know
