Hey Kidkawie..... I haven't got to much done with the bike so far. I've replaced the plugs, and put a little oil in each cylinder. All four plugs were extremely hard to remove. I had to slowly work them back and forth, using some PBlaster to help. Then I had to run a thread restorer down each hole. I've done an oil and filter change too.
I've got an aftermarket ignition and key set, and a new throttle cable ready to install. I have to pull the carbs and go through them, then It might be ready to start. I hope all is well with the engine, whan I get it running.
This is going to be a long process for me. I'm a broken down old fart, and don't move to fast anymore.

Yes it is a Vetter fairing. It's the first full fairing I've seen that doesn't require the removal of the factory headlight. So it makes it even better, that it still has that headlight. I'm getting excited to get it running, to verify it has a good engine.

Very nice, I had found a product called METAL RESCUE which works wonders at removing rust!
