i switched them back into place, no scarring on the cam or caps. they are now in order and torqued correctly, made a video but it is rendered useless by me switching the caps back, oh well will make a new one tomorrow.

For anyone else who may search this subject, ...
they are hard to see when the cams are in place, but there are numbers (1 - cast into the head surface, under the cams, which correspond to the number on the cam cap. They are easy to see with a flashlight.

I will show the stamped part in a video (once I get the mounts figured out ) Drained the oil today circa 1994 (last time it ran) I only get an hour in class which sucks but I am slowly making progress. I get the dumbass of the day award though, I thought the engine would fit without modification and was sad when it wouldn't until my friend (Tom) pointed out that the exhaust studs were hitting the down tube so I took two nuts, butted them together and removed one of them just as the bell rung -_- oh well, will continue it on thursday when I get more time to work on it.
Oh and another name for it... I am absolutely in love with the new ktm superduke 1290, kinda want to call this project the superdukie :side:

Sorry it has been awhile since I posted, not much has gone on until the last few days. Got the braces cut and the frame bent. I have a plan to put a sub frame on around the motor that bolts on. I will give a more in depth update when I get time. Working 7 days having one off is taking it out of me on top of school. Attached is a photo of the motor inside the frame as it sits
