12 Step program ?
19 Mar 2014 20:06
Hi, I'm Eric, and I'm addicted to Kawasaki motorcycles.
I'm not a low-level addict, like a lot of guys, I'm a big addict.
Everywhere I look I see twin-shock Z-bikes, I painted my house firecracker red, and I can't walk through my garage.
My wife thinks I'm going through a mid-life crisis, and my kids are whispering about me spending their inheritance....
Is it hopeless ?

Is it hopeless ?
My wife asked me if I still loved her - I said "Honey, I love you more than new carburetor boots ! "

First, you need to admit to your powerlessness over Kawasakis and the unmanageability of it all.
You might consider getting a sponsor to help you figure out what to do.
Come here ninety times for ninety days and that will help you get established on a new path.
If you have a slip, just keep coming back. It gets better!

Yup, y'all are beyond possible redemption....You both need a sign in the garages that reads"Abandon all hope, ye who enter here"...It starts out simply, and before you know what has happened, you are hooked on the hard stuff....NICE collections, guys! I would also say that you both married well! LOL!

Mine is bad also, game room in new house is going to be sporting a Molly Graphics scheme on 1 wall, a Z1 scheme on another, silver/blue mist on 1 and still trying to decide on the 4th wall. Trophy/plaque and printed articles on a wall with our bikes photos and poster adds on the remaining walls. Can't say I got her blessings but I did however get her permission!

I fell off the wagon again - I just made a deal to buy another '81 GPz550 - I know I should take it one day at a time, and NOT buy anymore firecracker red bikes, but I was weak
My wife asked me if I still loved her - I said "Honey, I love you more than new carburetor boots ! "

Re: 12 Step program ?

Between my uncle , my father and I at one point we had 17 bikes in the barn. I have whittled them down to 3 bikes. All 650's and one is a parts bike that I am about to harvest and heave. I will have 2 bikes. A 77 original red completely stock 10,000mi beauty and a mildly customed 77 orig Green machine. It was hard getting rid of some of the bikes and often I was picked up muttering and slobbering on myself after selling one of our bikes. But time moves on and the wrenching and riding gets harder especially for those of us who explored the limits and did things for the yahoo only to get the slap of life often. Would not have done it any different mind you. I used to get this strange feeling looking at the line up and deciding on a bike. A good strange feeling. Ill still have a great feeling deciding on red or green and yeah I got 60% of the barn back. Oh that GPz550 looks nice Eric I would have bought her too......doh!
