1976 Pigeon coup project lol was created by JR76KZ900
Well been a lurker to this site for years owned a kz years ago and wanted one since due to never doing anything to previous one I had. Got it for a couple hundred bucks with title ran before parked and was started frequently till about a year ago this bike has been a friend of mine for years and was another friends before that. So heres my resto-mod project :)

Sorry for all the pictures, this bike weighed like 50lbs more before i gave it a quick wash down due to pigeon poop LOL was hideous still is compared to most bikes on here but I cant wait to get into her!

It looks like you have the start of a good project. Have fun with it.
I may be wrong but the motor seems to be a 1000 from later years I think the 1000's came out in 77.

Jim you may be right and was told to me it had a motor with work ddoneone to it put it however the neck tag still in place and oddly pristine lol z1f-09xxxx and states mfg 8 of 75

I just plan to bring it back to life with a few modern goodies like gsxr front end and still undecided about swingarm clean up the motor and ride lol isnt that how all way overpriced projects

Great old find..

Lotsa rust and junk.. But buddy you gotta great start find another bike with no title and a seller no longer interested.. You then have a low budget gem classic ..

C'mon the flame paint is retro gorgeous
