Since my turbo build will be taking much longer than anticipated (link in signature), I decided to pick up something to ride in the meantime. Here is my '83 KZ550-C4 LTD! Picked her up for $500 running and riding! Not the prettiest thing, but with a little TLC it runs like a champ! Don't have much planned for it yet, but I'm sure that will change.

Here are some quick pics.

Of course as soon as I post this I get a box from DCC :woohoo:
Some clubman bars, turn signals to match the rears, and some grips! Really got the clubmans to see how they feel, not necessarily going the cafe route :P

Won't have any updates for a while since my appendix decided to give up the ghost yesterday. It's just hydrocodone and TV for a couple days

Abdominal surgery is definitely not something I want to go through ever again. Up and walking around now, slowly but surely. Might even feel up to the task of getting my bars on today

Got the clubmans on. Amazing how one little mod can change the attitude of the bike.
Still unable to ride, but that day is coming soon! Gonna wire up the new turn signals and jump the clutch safety later.

Looks great. I'd probably lower the front end an inch or two to level the bike out, but otherwise I like what you got there. B)

Took your advice and dropped the front about an inch until the forks hit the bars. I'd like to take another inch out front and rear. How would I go about dropping the front more? Would I have to get shorter springs for the forks?

Also cleaned up the pipes the best I could today. Will eventually have an exhaust made out of 304 stainless
