I repainted the frame section by section (didn't remove the motor), put a new seat cover on,replaced the brown bodywork, changed the fork tubes, powder coated the lowers and put the Moto GP Werkes pipe on it.
Here's the "after" picture
And here's the "before" picture
The bike runs well with 17.5 pilots and 120 mains. I put an old two stroke baffle in the pipe because when you buy it from Moto GP Werkes the baffle is hardly that, it's super loud.

The 1121 goop stopped the leaks for awhile and eventually it started oozing again. I am guessing that the covers (I tried two) were warped and bought another one on E-bay. Also according to Joe Hooper, sometimes the aluminum cam plugs cause leaks. I will try using the rubber plugs again.

Hi Joe, I had a local painter do the work. He used to work at an auto body shop. Now he has a regular job and paints motorcycles on the side. The color was off a modern car, dodge or something like that. It's metalflake and looks close to the original Kawasaki green. The reflection is from the windows of my house.KZJOE900 wrote: The first time I looked at it I thought you had a wide strip on the tank (close in color but in flat green). But now I see it is simply the reflection of the building onto the tank. That is an exceptional paint job. Did you farm it out the work or do it yourself? Love the color. Beautiful bike!
The Kawasaki emblems are those stick-on metal ones that go for cheap on e-bay. Both sides of the tank had dents and the screw holes for the original emblems were shot.
The side cover emblems actually the decals are from Redline.
