I've followed the wiring to the Dyna electric ignition and it all looks good. From my understanding the magnetic pickup on the the end of the crank will brake the ground to cause spark, correct? I have 3 wires coming from the ignition. A red, white, and black. The white and black go to the coils as the ground and the red goes to the fuse box.

I'm not familiar with wiring aftermarket ignition systems, but if both coils are firing at the same time something (either the wiring or the electronic module) is definitely wrong. You may want to contact Dynatec and ask them for advice; it is possible they have seen this problem before. Ed

They only fire at the same time when I flip the bike on. When running they fire correctly.

Is it both coils or two cylinders that are firing. I don't know what exhaust you are running or if you are confirming with the plugs. If it is running good I don't think both coils would be firing at the same time.

Both coils fire at the same time when I turn the ignition to the "on" position before ever starting the engine. When this happens the gas in the cylinder ignites and shoots right out the 4-1.

09 Apr 2013 13:40If it is a 4 into one how do you know it is both coils? Mine does it but it is only 2 cylinders that fire, I think. I have never pulled the plugs to check which would be the only way to be sure, or at least 2 of the plugs.nitsua93 wrote: Both coils fire at the same time when I turn the ignition to the "on" position before ever starting the engine. Well I pulled the carbs out again and realized the floats for 2 and 3 we're upside down. I'll mark that one as a learning experience :silly:

I can't edit my post for some reason. It now runs on all 4. Time to get them synced

Few new questions. I need to make the rear a little lower for me. The front is already down the forks somewhat and I need the back to match. I'm looking at what I think are air shocks. I'd like something adjustable that will definitely be lower than stock. It actually has some random Honda shocks on it right now.
What the best product to clean up the engine of grime and dirt?
Lastly, I need to respoke the wheels. I'm completely capable of doing it myself. Is there different quality of spokes or are they all about the same? I'd rather not have them bend while I ride.

Check out shorty shocks, they are about 2 inches shorter than stock. They are all over ebay. Use PB blaster & power wash it to get the muck off.
