Mk2 1000

Hey guys,I'm new to the site but have been into bikes since birth! I bought a non running barn fresh mark2 1000 18 months ago,cleaned the carbs and stored them and put the bike in storage,last weekend I dug it out,changed the coils ,put the carbs back on,threw in a new battery and she fired right up! It looks like someone had spent some money and time on it at some point,it has 29 mm carbs,the head drilled,? marzocchi shocks,pipe and pods and taylor leads.I bought a Rickman frame about a year ago so I plan to rebuild the whole lot with modern rubber and brakes and ride the wheels off it.heres where I am so far with a few bits roughed together

don't use one, but a Google search turns up free software from Apple to do just that.

super cool...i would get it back to stock with some era mods and be happy...that is a killer bike

dont stick that in a rickman whatever you do...your frame is a bit diff/stiffer than most kz1000 as is
