I have been riding since i was twelve or younger. I have always worked on my own bikes but after getting the harley I let a friend do most of the maintaining as he is a Certified 25 yrs HD Jedi.
It wasn't until a friend asked me "You have a mechanic?...what you forget how to use a Fn wrench?"
This comes from a friend that would shake his head every time I showed up to ride with a half assembled dirt bike in the back of my truck and usually have it running before these slobs would gear up. So I am back into it...but this time I have a lift.

It's nice to hear folk are still wrenching on old scooters and getting them on the road (with whatever parts you can find). The goal is to get it roadworthy; then we'll worry bout looks.
Im sure I'll have more inquiries along the way...stay tuned...brake parts and tire are next week
