Before anything major I had to get it to run.
I cleaned checked points /advancer. Cut off 1/4 inch plug wires remount plug ends. Years of pulling plugs wollow's out the plug wire. New battery/clean plugs . Lots of spark. fogged the cyl's and turned over a bunch.
Installed a nice set of 28's w 117.5 pilots and 20 mains on the three clip. Make shift gas tank
Bike fired up sounds real healthy. Ran it through all the gears a few times on the centersstand. let it cool down and did a comp check. about 155psi across the board. Nice
I love it when they fire for the first time in years.I'm starting to like this bike. Now it's time to drink lots of beer and do some cleaning, get that aluminum shinned up.

Took the pig on it's first road trip in 22 years. With the 28's it runs stong. However blew a main fuse ,twice. Electrical problem wonderful.
Looks like crap but only got it running see how it runs

Had a little time today soooo I took a complete set of extra engine covers- cam, stator, sprocket clutch point covers to the polisher also a extra drum brake hub. Valve shimmed it. Scrapped the rear ened and converted to drum brake. why? cleaner, looks better, lighter. That rear disc brake looks like crap. I also had to use a z1 brake arm and have to have a spacer made up,the shaft is a little shorter, no biggie.New shinny rear fender and z1 tail light. New bulbs in the dash and got all the blinkers working.
I was going to yank the engine and paint it black but I'm just going drink beer and polish the heck out of it

can you say z1 clone
