Can't think of any specific seat, but I would try to find something that steps down following the slope of the tank to make the bike look like it has more curves. And there by look lighter. Not talking about a big KZ seat, but something slimmer but can still accommodate a passenger. Not sure if that is what you had in mind. But just my tastes and one of many opinions I'm sure. Bike is looking good!

Try kicking up the rear of either of those tails about 2-2.5". It'll help with the curves and will take away that "flat" look at the back of the bike.

u can take a zrx11/12 seat and with a few mods, it will fit on the kz pan and look like this.
or for about $250 i can set u up with 1 of these.
or Z1E has these for $180

Gun fighter by Corbin. I made my tail light out of a 98 diode led light I bought at a truck stop. It can be seen ! Roy

Love both those seats you have pictured Mark. That is the exact suggestion I was thinking of. What modifications were required on the first seat? The second seat (one with green piping) may look even better, but would have to see it mounted on a bike. What bike is that one from? How is the comfort level for each of these seats?

The second seat pictured with the green piping looks like the Wog built seat on my ZRX. It's comfortable and feels right on the bike. Much better ride than the stock ZRX seats.
I have the bottom seat pictured from Z1E(comes from WIN-PMC Japan)on my '78 KZ1000. It feels great and looks good on the bike.
