I bought the bike 4 weeks ago and it has come a long way so far but I'm still not finished. Go easy on the negative comments as this is my first bike, thanks.

Very nice! Incredible how much you did in just 4 weeks. The only thing I wasn't keen on was the seat you had pictured with the bike. Makes the bike look like it has morning wood. :silly: But I'm assuming that you are not going to use that seat because it looks like you are going for the cafe look. Everything is very tastefully done in that regard. Love it!

The tires are Shinko 712 with 100/90/18 front and 110/90/18 rear.
The tank will be painted flint mica with heavy flake (code 1E0) from a scion
And the seat is a real pain in the arse to shape and decide on, and is not finished.

Update:
The gas tank is with the painter (1E0 Flint Mica with heavy flake and lots of clear)
The Carbs are getting rebuilt
The wires are tucked and cleaned up
I fabricated a new bracket for the ignition that relocates it to the right side under the tank
I will post pics of the tank and Carbs when I get them back.

I was gonna ask where I could get a seat like that!! lol. not a cafe guy myself, I respect'em, but wouldn't ride one myself. I was wondering where I could find one if you know. I am working on making my 1100 little more chopper/cruiser styole.

I made the seat out of the old one, but I'm not finished with it yet. Here are before and after pics.

Very nice job on the bike and I'd have to say the best use of an end table I've ever seen. B) Keep up the good work, I'm looking forward to seeing it when you are done.
