Silver frame looks badass!

Is that single stage or basecoat/clearcoat?

Thanks test.. It came out nice, and looks better then I thought it would. Just glad it's starting to go back together now.. :)

The paint is Basecoat/Clearcoat.. 2 Coats Epoxy Primer(grey), 2 Coats Silver Metallic, 3 Coats of clear.

Had no idea you have a white strip down the center.. I just bought the paint for the 900 last week, blue and white, can you imagine what I was going to do? LOL

Yeah, I guess if you hadn't seen the pictures of my body parts in the build thread, then all of those side shots would make it hard to tell that she's got a racing stripe. I had intended on getting some different angle shots this summer but the drought was so bad around here that I didn't want anyone to see all of the brown death around my bike.

Anyway, don't let my paint job scare you away from painting yours. Heck, I found out that another member had a similar job to mine after I had planned it. You just don't see him around much these days. Check out this page in my build thread: kzrider.com/forum/11-projects/340793-tes...d?limit=20&start=580

It very well may be... my blue is a bit lighter for sure, but I was thinking on doing a single offset strip on the right side, kinda like a euro strip. We shall see..

That's hilarious. I didn't even think how that sounded when I wrote it.

I like the idea of an offset stripe. I had considered that option as well.

UF, bike looks good. Do you have a build thread going that I missed? I didn't do any reliefs on the tank, I just moved my stops in slightly. I dont think its enough to hurt the turn radius at all. (at least I hope not) lol..

Thanks,

Jack

No the turn radius is not a problem while riding. the only time its noticed is while turning around in tight areas , like the garage and what not.
The bike is looking good. B)

And here I have been envious of the nice, rounded tank on the 1000J as well as the early Z750 fours that you 'mercuns got
