Hey folks,
Ive been meaning to get some pics up of my bike but havent had a chance to really get things going. Here are a few to get things started. After a winter maintenance and refreshing I had terrible carb problems and didnt have time or money to get the bike back and running. But after soaking carbs and thoroughly cleaning them again Its running again. I have a long mental grocery list of mods I want to do the bike but I need to keep putting money aside :P

Thanks,
Kelly

No front fender? Get yourself a fork brace to improve the handling:
www.fastfromthepast.com/servlet/the-554/...awasaki-KZ900/Detail

And maybe a set of "Case Savers" if the bike is ever dropped:
www.redlinecycle.com/casesavers.html (it may show a blank page, but the info is there).

Im looking to get a smaller LTD front fender, I still have the chrome one. But a fork brace is on the list too. Im on the fence about the case savers. I like them in theory but I dont know I will will want them on this bike. Im still waiting for the rear fender brake light. I originally was just going to use the 2 small rear brake lights, like the sportsters do, but Im putting another brake light for peace of mind.

As far as "styles" go.....Im totally diggin the Sanctuary, Wrenchmonkees, and Bratstyle bikes. It will be a mix of all of it I guess. Restomod/Cafe/Bobber/Hooligan/????

I dunno
Ill try to update this as I go

The shocks were part of the teardown project. I put them on over winter and didnt have a chance to ride yet. Carbs were DOA. Now that I have them sorted out I plan to do a shakedown ride this week and go over the bike again. Ill let you know how they ride when I get some miles on them. B)

 When parked at night, does the unlit tail light serve as a reflector?

Great bike! I like where you're going with it. Only thing I would do is put a contrasting line bordering the gold to make it 'pop' a bit more.

Thanks! And yes that is on the to do list. I was thinking the exact same thing. Maybe a red or black pinstripe line. Im eventually getting a sportbike front end and it would most likely be of the gold anodized variety.
