Rich, I just started to follow your build. I started from the first post to the current, wish I could have seen all the pictures. I my self have been doing a build for some time. My thread is Tribute Bike. glad you decided to keep going, it will definitely be worth it. What a beautiful paint job.

That is a gorgeous bike and amazing paint. Your attention to meticulous detail is amazing Rich! Although there are many awesome examples on the site, this would be my vote for bike of the year.

I'm not sure if you plan to continue to run the velocity stacks on the carbs (haven't read your entire build) Dirt is not good for moving parts. Daveo posted a pic a while back with velocity stacks being used with his air box. Going from memory here, but he cut out the interior divider section , and inserted the stacks from the inside through some sort of grommet. Then added a filter to the top of the box to keep dirt from being sucked into the engine.

Good god, I'm glad you are getting close to finishing this! So much wow here. I want to see this thing in person. I will bring mine out to do a flag run if you're down to come out and roll with us. This has got to be one of the sexiest KZZZZZ 's I've ever had the good fortune to witness being built.

Would be awesome to do a run Saxjonz , hopfully soon.
OLD Kaw , I would like to use those velocity stacks but probably going to switch back to my APE pods. Currently I have put filters on the screens of the velocity stacks but I don't think they will tune well with the filters, as well as velocity stack performance.

Rich67, you have a gorgeous bike! Love your work and attention to detail. I just realized, after staring at the pics for weeks, you removed the original swingarm gussets and welded in new ones. Maybe when you are finished you could post some kind of build log as most of the pics from the beginning of this build are gone. I’ll admit to being slow and I may be blind as well, have you ever mentioned what front end you used on this bike? Again, gorgeous bike!
