how was that 5-mile bridge at Mackinaw (open grate)
we stayed overnite at it and that is something to see at night
i am glad you made the trip i did a cross country a year ago and living off the bike makes you think sometimes.

Thanks for the props guys! I really didn't take that many pictures. I was riding 10-12 hours every day, so when I stopped, it was to rest and relax. I do have these that my wife and my friend took. You'll see that those are both happy faces :-| ha.

@P21 - that grate sucked, and the traffic didn't help either. Then me and my boys got searched at the border, and we had to take all of our shit off the bikes, have them look through every bag and box, and then put it back on. Luckily the Canadian border patrol didn't find the drugs and weapons we had. (serious?) And the interrogation office was a biker, so he let us do most of the un and repacking ourselves.
