When I got my MK2 this is exactly how I had wanted it to turn out but the plan changed. I have an almost complete spare set of tins that I will do like this one day.

Being a MKll fan of the first order, that's beautiful. Call Eddie up and see if he wants to take 'er for a spin for old time's sake. Congrats !

What would you have in mind for a rear brake set up?

i think he's just saying the rear rotor is discolored and sticks out compared to how clean the rest of the bike is...whats funny is i noticed my rear disk is the same and a tad ground down and ordered new pads...the p.o had pads in there but they are shot and there is little stopping power ,hence the discolored rear disk...wonder if that is common on this model

see if this pic (when blown up) shows the same looking disk???

the disk was common on many shared yrs and models so i'm sure a decent one can be had for a song
