C3,
Thank you! I had planned on a stripe under the kaw badge that would branch into tribal flames on the tail piece in gloss back or a matt black hot rod stripe over the top of the tank and tailpiece but after seeing the paint both I and the painter decided to keep it clean.
Just curious, you from England or Austrailia?

Very cool! I'm a 1/4 Irish myself. My grandmother's maiden name was McGrath. The rest is German, Austrian and Hungarian. I'm a mutt, just like my dogs.
Thanks for the pat on the back, C3. I'm not done yet....

Great news! I popped off the valve cover to adjust the valves and do an inspection and instantly thought... damn... those aren't stock cams....Sure enough, it's got Andrews 1x cams. they're in great condition and need nothing other than to be degreed (I see no slots in the cam sprockets).
The top cam chain sprocket is fine but the tower rubbers are cracked, but no pieces missing. Cam chain looks good, but it's loose as a goose and needs adjustment.
