1983 Kawa 550 LTD bobber build

Ran out to a swap meet the other day and nabbed a couple things:

Added to my helmet collection, although I have a DOT 3/4 somewhere too.

Found an Ultima seat that appears never to have been mounted before, hoping to make my seat rails follow the contours of it to properly support 2 people.

And last for the day I found a peanut tank that was NIB, still oiled up on the outside, and ready to rock.

I know the KZ frame is ugly, but I'm hoping to make the tank work.

I also ordered a fuel cap for the tank off of Lowbrow Customs.

There is another swap meet in a couple weeks and i am going to nab a 3.5" or 4.5" headlight, a set of short shocks, and possibly a short, small fender of some sort to use on the rear under the seat.

Now if only it was spring.
